HB 519 - NATURAL GAS PIPELINE: SPECIAL PROVISIONS Number 0013 CHAIR KOTT announced that the committee would consider HOUSE BILL NO. 519, "An Act authorizing priority treatment under the Right-of-Way Leasing Act for an Alaska North Slope natural gas project; expanding the scope for the kinds of gas development projects that may become qualified projects under the Alaska Stranded Gas Development Act; extending the deadline for submitting applications under the Alaska Stranded Gas Development Act; exempting an Alaska North Slope natural gas project from state property tax and all municipal taxes during construction; and providing for an effective date." [Before the committee was CSHB 519(FIN).] Number 0040 REPRESENTATIVE PORTER moved to adopt the proposed CS for HB 519, Version 22-LS1651\H, Chenoweth, 5/4/02, as a work draft. There being no objection, Version H was before the committee. Number 0074 REPRESENTATIVE KOHRING moved to report the proposed committee substitute (CS) for HB 519, version 22-LS1651\H, Chenoweth, 5/4/02, out of committee with individual recommendations and the accompanying fiscal notes.
